Who Help People

Moosilauke Visions Combines a Variety of Resources and more than 30 Years of Expertise to Partner with Individuals and Organizations in New Hampshire’s Upper Valley and Beyond on their Path to Growth and Success.

THE MOOSILAUKE MISSION

Our ultimate goal is to sustain existing programs and use resources to seed more programs that further serve individuals, families and communities, beginning with those in the Upper Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont.

ABOUT US

Our Story

Moosilauke Visions seeks to extend the vision of Jay Wolter, J.D., who after leaving the practice of law in 1993, founded an array of programs serving individuals in need.  Starting humbly with a small nonprofit residential treatment school located in the shadow of Mount Moosilauke in Haverhill, N.H., Jay and the Moosilauke Visions team have overseen the development and/or resuscitation of numerous sustainable nonprofit ventures throughout New England and beyond.  While most of these ventures serve struggling learners, at risk youth, the developmentally disadvantaged and individuals struggling with mental health challenges, other areas of focus include agriculture, wilderness treatment, outdoor recreation and land management.  Many, but not all, of the founded ventures have become independent, which ultimately is the goal for all programs and leaders supported by Jay and the Moosilauke Visions team.

WHOM WE HELP

Moosilauke Visions is dedicated to improving quality of life for all and accomplishes this through working with others to build strong communities. Specifically, we collaborate with:

Nascent or resource-challenged programs devoted to improving the health and well-being of individuals of all ages.

Future leaders with visions of devoting their life’s work to supporting people and communities in need.

People promoting innovative land use strategies that protect the environment but encourage human participation.

How We Help

Are we right for you?

Creating a sustainable mission-driven organization has never been harder. Regardless of the importance of your mission, or the need that your mission aims to address, the task before you can feel insurmountable.

All mission-driven organizations face similar challenges, yet some are incredibly successful.  What’s the secret to their success? Moosilauke Visions exists to answer that question. We’ve been where you are. We’ve met the challenges you now face, and we’ve become a powerful force for good. Furthermore, we’ve distilled 50 years of struggle, determination, passion, and achievement into a thorough process that encompasses everything you need in order to accomplish your mission.

Rather than just being a mentor, we look to become as excited about your work as you are. We can become your partner for growth and sustainability. Allow us to help you realize your full potential and achieve your mission.

Identify Your Need
Ask yourself: Do I have an organizational challenge without a clear solution OR do I want improvement, but don’t have a clear plan? Commit to getting support if you answer “yes” to either.

MISSIONS WE SUPPORT

Your Generosity Will Make a Substantial Difference.

Thank you for considering a gift to Moosilauke Visions, LLC. As a non-profit entity, we appreciate generous tax-deductible support from thoughtful members of the Moosilauke Visions family. Your donations to Moosilauke Visions provides some of the resources needed for us to incubate new programs and bolster existing ones in our ongoing effort to address mental health issues, steward community, promote outdoor education and healthy lifestyles, and help rural communities become sustainable. Because of your generosity, we can offer opportunities to those individuals, programs, and businesses that, if not for the support of Moosilauke Visions, would fail to prosper and mentor the leaders of tomorrow.

We thank you, in advance, for your generous support.
