Joseph Denucci
Joseph has been actively involved in the healthcare and wellness industry for over 25 years. As the President of DeNucci & Associates, he uses his expertise in comprehensive strategic planning and business development to provide consulting services for clients with interests in merging conventional health and medicine with alternative medicine, integrative medicine, healthy lifestyle, and wellness.
He is also the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of NextHealth, LLC, a Chicago-based private investment firm lending expertise and capital to startup companies in the healthy lifestyle space. Additionally, Joseph is a Manager and Investment Advisor to William O’Donnell Jr., as well as the Manager of O’Donnell’s Family Office.
Over the years, Joseph has developed and owned several healthcare-related businesses and has worked on many projects for a variety of organizations. He has a background in senior and executive management with conventional behavioral and traditional medicine companies. Notably, Joseph developed an integrated behavioral health management model called Behavioral Services Management to administrate the full range of behavioral health services for Baptist/St. Vincent’s’ Healthcare System in Florida. He also wrote a comprehensive business planning strategy for them to develop and integrate complementary and alternative medicine programs within select medical practice groups.
Other positions he’s held include interim Chief Operating Officer for Duke University Health System’s Campus for Living, COO of WorldCare Dubai, Founder of Insight Intensive at Gold Lake, and Partner and Operations Executive for Asgard Health. He has also served as both the General Manager of Miraval Resort’s renowned Life in Balance Spa and later as COO and Senior Vice President of their Wellness, Spa, and Guest Program Development department. Plus, he holds a few board seats for organizations such as Constellations Behavioral Health, AIM House, and Boulder Integrated Health. All this experience has given him a vast wealth of knowledge in areas such as working with young adults, running residential facilities, creating prevention programs, implementing medically supervised fitness and weight management, and overseeing therapeutic spa and clinical program services, just to name a few.
